Tandra Page 1066, Web Comics
Created on 11/16/2009
I had a press release in my mail this week. It ran as follows;

"The president of the United States is dead. He was murdered in the morning sunlight by a four-year-old boy…"
Welcome to J.C. Hutchins' SF thriller 7th Son: Descent, a novel set in present day featuring human cloning, dangerous technologies, and "beyond Top Secret" government conspiracies. I'm letting everyone know about an exciting publication that started as an online podcast, and now is being sold in stores everywhere. And whats more amazing than a fellow internet creator bringing his works from the free digital format to the printed page, is that he's still publishing everything for free online. If you want to check this out, listen to the book for free, read it for free, or even buy the book, check out his site over here: You could even join the ranks of his online army by participating in Warvember just like I am.

Needless to say, this sounded interesting, so I punched in the web address and went to the site to see what this comic is all about. About thirty minutes later I was still reading the story and I realized I needed to get to work on my own stuff before the whole day was gone. I broke my internet connection and shut my computer down and walked over to my drawing board where I started inking the Tandra page waiting there.

The sun came up and I worked on until mid morning when my favourite book shop in town had opened for business. I picked up the phone and rang them up and asked if they could get the first volume as advertised and, after a moment, the nice lady replied affirmative, so I told her to order a copy for me. It should be in shortly.

Meantime, I’ll have to add Hutchins’ site as one I visit on a regular basis, but not while I am supposed to be working on Tandra.

May the sun always shine on your parade.
