I Will Not Submit, I will Not Surrender

When a homicidal thug points a loaded gun at my head and says he plans to squeeze the trigger, my inclination is to take him real seriously. (Of incident, I wish to thank syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin for the image on the Tandra Home Page and her assurance it translates to the words below the image.) Since the events of this past summer in the year of 2006, I have come to the decision to research the the Religion of Rage for myself. There is no lack of information available and, anyone with any interest can quickly learn all they care to know of the religion set forth by Muhammad. It requires not very extensive research to learn the prophet of Islam called for the religion he initiated to be spread over all the Earth by force and by intimidation and by any means possible. Instructions were quite explicit and called for conversion, submission or execution. For Jews and Christians, the first two options are not available.
I have written elsewhere a more detailed evaluation of the facts I have uncovered in my research on Islam and I have made clear, I hope, that not all muslims are cut from the same cloth. As there are variants on the Christian religion, the Jewish and other major religions, there are different beliefs concerning the appropriate means of spreading the Islamic faith. Not all members of the Islamic faith subscribe to the spreading of their religion by bloody sword, but my investigation of the beginnings of this code of conduct has convinced me violent subjugation was the preferred method demanded by the prophet.
I can accept the conventional wisdom that most Muslims today are, in fact, good and peaceful persons of high moral character, but the time is running out for the moderates to make their voices heard in opposition to the psychopathic murderers who use their name. My tolerance is running a bit thin in awaiting word from the "peaceful" Muslims. Their thunderous silence on the campaign of slaughter and intimidation is beginning to sound a lot like support for their murderous brothers. My mother was fond of saying those who lie down with dogs generally rise up infested with fleas. She also told the story often of Old Dog Trey who ran with the sheep killing dogs. Though Old Dog Trey never killed any sheep, when the authorities came to shoot the sheep killing dogs, Old Dog Trey was shot right along with the other dogs as he was keeping company with killers and there was no way to tell his innocence.
The few Muslims I am aware of that are beginning to speak out against the homicidal jihadists complain their violence loving brothers are causing non-Muslims to view the religion of Muhammad with fear. In this, the speaker is in error. He is mistaking for fear what is in fact revulsion and contempt and anger. Murderers do not get a lot of sympathy from civilized persons.
In consequence of having posted the "I will not submit, I will not surrender!" graphic on the home page, the purpose of this commentary is to give my reasons for display of the graphic. Reasons are as follows;
I am unalterably opposed to a state run by homicidal religious fanatics.
I will not convert to any religion from threat of a sword, either literally at my throat or implied.
I find no attraction to a promised afterlife that offers nothing more than a cheap and eternal pornographic brothel stocked with, one supposes, an inexhaustable supply of viagra.
I am opposed to the enslavement of women. I do not fear women nor am I impotent nor require a woman as a chained prisoner inside my house to insure her fidelity.
I am not so morally depraved as to find sexual attraction in three year old female toddlers nor do I care to belong to a religion that panders to and encourages men of such disgusting filth.
Finally I stand with American Patrick Henry who said on March 23, 1775, at a meeting of delegates held in St. John's church in Richmond VA, "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, gve me liberty or give me death!"
In the words of Thomas Jefferson, "I have sworn upon the alter of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."
