Tandra Page 1533, Thanksgiving

Visit : http://www.tandra.com

I’m sitting on my back porch looking out over the yard as the rising sun brightens the Eastern sky.

I invest a considerable word count in these observations with complaining about the state of affairs in this country. A man I once knew made comment, “A bitching person is a happy person!” I suppose that indicates I am an extremely blessed American as I am constantly finding an abundance about which I am inclined to “bitch”.

In any case, I do not necessarily look upon problems with an unfavourable perspective. Some people wish for a world where everything is perfect and no problems arise. Heaven is promised to be an eternity where everything is perfect and there are no inconveniences. Such a state looks on the face of it to be incredibly boring and not much to be desired. If everything is absolutely perfect and there are no challenges, why bother to get out of bed in the morning?

Of course there are problems in this world. As I have previously made comment, now with The Donald in the Oval Office, it is more difficult most days to come up with a new annoyance about which to write. That is certainly not to suggest I am in total agreement with everything President Donald J. Trump says and does. Heck, I don’t even agree with everything I say and do. But, during the reign of Generalissimo Barack Hussein Obama there was an over abundance of issues each and every day from which to choose. The problem was not from where to get my inspiration for the daily observations. The daily task was to pick from the flood which malfeasance or blunder out of the Administration I wished to take issue with. Oh, for the “good ol’ days”!

Just kidding, folks.

Generalissimo Barack Hussein Obama is gone and, threats of insurrection to the contrary, is reported to be invested in a campaign of frying what remains of his brain and playing video games. Wishing him continued peace and prosperity.

As someone else made comment (Actually there are numerous Americans who have made this observation.) we in America have much reason to be thankful that Thanksgiving Day 2017 has not found us with Hillary (Wicked Witch Of The Left) Clinton in the Oval Office. Of that blessing I too am wonderfully happy. Thank you Dear Lord!

I am also thankful on this day, and every day, of the success and fulfillment I have found with Tandra. The Tandra Fan Base continues to grow and I am appreciative for each and every visitor to the Tandra Site.

I am much thankful for the input made to this site by the two contributors that provide monthly observations from their own perspectives. I do not always agree with what they have to say, but that is the reason I pay them for their monthly input. This Tandra Site would be much poorer without their point of view.

I remain thankful for the challenges and issues that face me daily. They are opportunities given me to respond to and to make the most of. They give me reason to climb out of bed in the morning.

I never cease to be thankful for my own personal Garden of Eden here in West Tennessee. This eighty acres is absolute perfection in every way and I could ask no more of Heaven.

Finally I am eternally thankful for my Savior Jesus the Christ and for his Sacrifice on the Cross. Without my Savior and my God, life would be a total waste not worth living.

May God bless you each and every one on this Thanksgiving Day and throughout the years.

“Rule by the unaccountable is tyranny!”

Hanther
